At El Sabio we offer you the opportunity to experience authentic Spanish tapas and other dishes, along with a good glass of wine in our riverside restaurant in East Gate, Winchester.

This is a family-run bar and restaurant owned and run by two chefs from Hungary!

We have taken over the old Mash Tun pub and hope you will come along and try out our dishes and see what we've done to the place to make it a really enjoyable place to dine with your friends.

In case you're wondering about the name - El Sabio - it was the name given to King Alfonso X the 13th century King of Castile and Leon.
