Welcome to El Sabio Tapas Bar and Restaurant in Winchester and Newbury

Now you can enjoy excellent food and wine in delightful surroundings at either of our friendly, family-run restaurants. I'm a Hungarian-born chef who trained in Budapest before coming to England. I set up the first El Sabio in Winchester in 2008 and it's been so successful we've just opened another in Newbury.

At El Sabio we offer you the opportunity to experience authentic Spanish tapas and other dishes, along with a good glass of wine in our riverside restaurant in East Gate, Winchester or our new restaurant in the centre of Newbury, just off Northbrook.
